Hello and a Warm Welcome to Roy's family sigriya! Roy’s Villa is a social, experience-focused place designed for travelers who enjoy shared activities and meaningful connections. We regularly organize group experiences such as cooking classes, sunrise hikes, sunset walks, cycling trips, and social evenings. For this reason, Roy’s Villa may not be the right fit for travelers who are mainly looking for a quiet place just to sleep or relax without participating in social activities. It is a family- and friends-run experience created for travelers who want a stress-free stay where we organize activities, meals, and shared moments together. For travelers who prefer to plan everything on their own, there are many other excellent places around Sigiriya that may suit their travel style better. We host over 40 guests at a time, and our activities and social events — including karaoke nights held up to twice a week and finishing by 11:00 PM — are planned based on the overall guest mood and community experience. as it allows future travelers to better understand whether Roy’s Villa matches their travel style. Furthermore, We're currently doing some light renovations on the other side of the hotel during the day ( 11am to 02pm ) . However, most guests are typically out and about participating in various activities and may not be affected. We offer free activities like cooking demonstrations and sunset walks to enhance your stay. Enjoy mouthwatering local dishes, mostly vegan, prepared in a welcoming, communal setting where you can meet Roy and fellow travelers. For an authentic local experience, spend time with farmers in their rice fields, or take a refreshing swim in the natural lake—you might even spot elephants!
